News

69th International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film (26 October – 1 November 2026)

On October 26, 2026, DOK Preview Germany will once again take place as part of DOK Industry at the 69th DOK Leipzig (October 26 – November 1, 2026). DOK Preview Germany is an exclusive platform for feature-length German documentaries in the final stages of production. The carefully curated selection includes both works still in production and recently completed films ready for their premieres and international distribution. The teams will present their projects to international buyers, commissioning editors, world sales companies, festival programmers and distributors.

DOK Preview Germany is jointly organized by German Films and DOK Leipzig, with the support of AG DOK. It will take place on 26 October during DOK Leipzig, the International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film. Our partner D-Facto Motion will present the D-Facto Motion Works-in-Progress Award to one of the projects showcased at DOK Preview Germany, providing post-production services worth €10,000.
