NEXT GENERATION SHORT TIGER 2024

The 14th edition of the joint initiative by German Films and the FFA to promote young talents, NEXT GENERATION SHORT TIGER, will presented at Cannes this year again on Tuesday, May 21, as a market screening (6.00 pm at Olympia 2).

The jury selected 11 short films from 173 submissions - detailed information about all the films and filmmakers can be found here.

GERMAN TALENT IN CANNES

In April, Festival president Iris Knobloch and festival director Thierry Frémaux announced the official line-up for the main categories.

Talentwise, Germany is represented in the main competition this year by the actors Diane Kruger, appearing in David Cronenberg's THE SHROUDS, and Franz Rogowski, who can be seen in BIRD by Andrea Arnold.
