German productions successful at the 11th Festival Cinéma Tout Ecran in Geneva

Four German films received awards at the 11th Festival international du cinéma et de la télévision Cinéma Tout Ecran in Geneva (31.10.-06.11.05).

In the International Competition, the "Tudor Prize for Best Actress" went to Mairead McKinley in the German film MOLLY’S WAY by Emily Atef.


The „Reflet D’Or“ in the Perspectives section was awarded to the Austrian-German co-production SLEEPER (SCHLAEFER) by Benjamin Heisenberg.


In the Short Film Competition, the "Prix du Public for Best Short Film" was awarded to BOW-TIE DUTY FOR SQUARE HEADS (FLIEGENPFLICHT FUER QUADRATKOEPFE) by Stephan Flint-Mueller. The film also received a "Special Mention" from the jury.


The prize for the "Best Short Animation Film" and the "Kodak Prize for the Best Director" in the Cinéma Tout Enfant competition went to the German short film KATER by Tine Kluth.


This year saw a total of ten German productions screening at the festival.
