20 promising and aspiring producers from all over Europe will be taking part in the PRODUCERS ON THE MOVE networking program of European Film Promotion (EFP) during the Festival de Cannes. Fabian Massah (Endorphine Production), who was nominated by EFP member German Films, will be part of the line-up on the German side.

Fabian Massah founded his production company in 2004 together with Marc Malze, a fellow graduate from the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB). He has (co-)produced a number of award-winning films such as MEN ON THE BRIDGE, ATLANTIC, ALL OF A SUDDEN and OBLIVION VERSES, which was shown in Venice and Toronto in  2017. His latest production, Johannes Schaff's SYMPHONY OF NOW, will be released in the cinemas during summer 2018. Fabian Massah is also a producer of commercials and image videos and is a board member of the Association of German Film Producers (Verband deutscher Filmproduzenten).

The PRODUCERS ON THE MOVE platform provides its participants with a tailor-made program in Cannes from 10 to 14 May 2018 to support the exchange of experiences between European producers, give them an opportunity to establish new networks, and thus facilitate international co-productions.  This includes roundtable pitching sessions, one-to-one speed dating meetings, case studies on successful projects and various opportunities for conversations about transnational issues.

Each year sees the program resulting in a number of international co-productions among the participants or with partners they met during the project. Former PRODUCERS ON THE MOVE are involved in a total four titles screening in the Competition of this year's Festival de Cannes.

PRODUCERS ON THE MOVE is supported by Creative Europe - MEDIA Programme of the European Union as well as the EFP member organizations, including German Films.
