World premiere om the Competition of the Venice International Film Festival (29 August – 8 September 2018): in his new film NEVER LOOK AWAY, Oscarâ-winner Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck (THE LIVES OF OTHERS) focuses the audience's attention on German contemporary art and the creative process and marries this with German post-war history.

FACE TO FACE WITH GERMAN TALENT GOES LONDON

For the first time, German Films partnered with the Regent Street Cinema in London to present FACE TO FACE WITH GERMAN TALENT: THE GERMAN FILM WEEKEND to local London audiences from 21-23 September 2018. The program was curated by The Daily Telegraph’s film critic Tim Robey and presented five films from and featuring directors and actors from the FACE TO FACE WITH GERMAN FILMS campaigns.

SPOTLIGHT: GERMAN TELEVISION SHINES AT SEOUL INTERNATIONAL DRAMA AWARDS

German TV productions were out in full force at the Seoul International Drama Awards, one of the most important TV festivals in Asia. While the hit series BABYLON BERLIN garnered the "Grand Prize", two TV movies showed that this genre  doesn't have to shy away from international comparison.
