LOCARNO PRO - HIGHLIGHTS

MATCH ME!

A total of 37 emerging producers with 2-5 years of experience from 14 different countries have been selected for Locarno Pro's international networking initiative Match Me!. Since 2015, the programme provides an informal networking platform for new and upcoming production companies with distinct focus and strong visions to support the selected producers by expanding the horizons of their collaborations, relations and partnerships.

Match Me! 2025 takes place in partnership with various film institutes and official institutions like German Films from August 8 to 10, offering individual meetings and tailor-made networking activities with potential creative and business partners, with the aim of strengthening relationships in the industry, finding potential co-producers and consolidating the producers’ international visibility.

The German participants 2025 are:

ALLIANCE4DEVELOPMENT

A4D consists of a three-day program for selected projects to enhance their co-production potential through curated one-on-one meetings, pitching sessions, networking events, lunches, workshops, and feedback sessions with industry guests attending Locarno Pro.

A4D will conclude with an award ceremony, where participants have the opportunity to win several awards to further support the development of their projects. Two German projects were picked in 2025:
