Heidi Specogna was born in 1959 in Switzerland. From 1982-1988, she studied Directing at the German Film & Television Academy (dffb) in Berlin. She also lectures in Documentary Filmmaking at the Film Academy Baden-Wuerttemberg and the Lucerne Art School.
