Claude Oliver Rudolph was born in 1956 in Frankfurt. After studying Philosophy, Psychology and Theater Sciences, he worked as an assistant to Jiri Menzel. He then participated in an acting seminar with Lee Strassberg. He is an Acting instructor at various film academies and film institutes. Also active as an actor and writer, his films include: Lost Horizons (1987), Der dicke Rebell (1986), The Wonderbeats (1990), Weinende Ruhr (1994), Ebbies Bluff (1992), Liebe mich bis in den Tod (TV, 1998), Dirty Sky (2003), and Amundsen - The Penguin (2003).
