Dominik Reding was born in Dortmund in 1969. He studied Architecture at the university Aachen until 1992. He moved to Hamburg in 1993 and attended the Academy of the Fine Arts, Section: Visual Communication. His films include Acker, Leute, Goethe (short, 1995), Adrian's Monday (short, 1995), Dirt (short, 1996) and Taste The Sweat (short, 1997). His first long-feature film Oi! Warning won the award for the Best Debut Film at the Max-Ophuels-Festival 1999.
