Astrid is an artist and lives alone in Cologne. Her father Wolf lives near Cologne and suffers from Alzheimer’s disease. He’s constantly wandering off and getting into trouble. Astrid decides to have him move in with her so that she can take care of him.

Wolf completely muddles up Astrid’s life. She hardly has anymore time for herself. Her life revolves only around her father. He requires her complete attention. Her daily life is filled with the constant monologue of Wolf’s stories, which grate on her nerves. On top of that, he has no use for her art and constantly confuses her with her sister. Astrid feels more and more pressure and is near despair. The two of them argue and Wolf vanishes. When Astrid finds him he is wandering through the streets and she finally manages to get involved in his reality and the richness of his stories from another time inspires her to new work: a comic strip is born.
