A film full of hope and a glimpse into the future.

Ina, just released from prison, returns to her childhood village trying to find meaning for her life. In her mother’s house, which had been abandoned for 30 years, she meets Domuehl, a desperate underdog, and Hagen, a mentally handicapped man who had spent his previous life in a mental institution and, while looking for his uncle, has ended up in this strange landscape in the middle of nowhere, south of Berlin. Hagen mistakes Domuehl, a bankrupt scaffolder who is hardly ever sober, for his uncle. Domuehl inherited not only his father’s scaffolding business but also a military base which his father acquired after the fall of the Berlin Wall for just one Deutschmark – shortly later, he froze to death. Ever since, Domuehl has struggled to eke out a living as a social outcast in cowboy boots, engrossed in his playground-daydreams and booze. But once Ina moves into his house together with Hagen and his rat, Domuehl’s life changes radically.

AlleAlle is an extraordinary film about real-life people and their quest for responsibility.
