Felix Herrmann was born in 1988 in Munich. From 2009-2013, he studied History and Iranian Studies in Berlin. Since 2013, he has been studying Documentary Directing at the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF). In 2017/2018, he spent an exchange year at the Ecole nationale supérieure Louis Lumière in Paris. His films as a director include JUNGE RÖMER (2014), ROUGH DIAMONDS (2015, co-dir Jakob Defant), which was nominated for the German Short Film Award, LES SAUVAGES (2018, co-dir Camille Tricaud) and DIE TINTE TROCKNET NICHT (2019).
