Cornelia Gruenberg studied at the German Film & Television Academy (dffb) in Berlin and worked as a camera assistant at ZDF. She made her feature directorial debut in 1995 with Paul IV which was awarded the Jury's Special Prize at the "Golden Sparrow" Children's Film&Television Festival in Gera. Her other films are: Hold Me, Love Me... (documentary, 1995), Zeit des Schweigens (co-dir with Andreas Gruenberg, 1996/97), Die Mumie von Kampehl (short, 1997), First Kiss (short, 1997/98) and Two In A Boat (Zwei in einem Boot, 1998).
