Anthony Hickox Often called the »Stephen King of directing«, British-born Anthony Hickox moved to the USA in the late 1980's where in 1987 he wrote and directed his first film, the horror-comedy Waxwork, for which he won several international awards. The success of Waxwork led to a sequel, a comics spin-off and a CD-ROM game. In between the two Waxwork films, Hickox wrote and directed the cult comedy Sundown: The Vampire in Retreat (1991) and, in 1992, he directed the horror hit Hellraiser III: Hell On Earth. His other work includes Warlock: The Armageddon (1993), Payback, Full Eclipse and Invasion Of Privacy (1995). Hickox also appears as the knight Sir Gawain in Prince Valiant.
