Nina Grosse studied Directing at the University of Television & Film Munich (HFF/M) from 1981-1987. Her graduation film DER GLÄSERNE HIMMEL was nominated for a German Film Award in 1987 and won the Bavarian Film Award 1988. Her feature NIE IM LEBEN (1990, co-director Helmut Berger) won the Max-Ophüls Award 1991 and another German Film Award nomination. Since then, she was mainly active as a writer and director of TV productions, for example the award-winning THE LOST SON (2008). Her other theatrical features include FIRE RIDER (1997), OLGA’S SUMMER (2002), and THE WEEKEND (2012).
