Two in a Boat (Zwei in einem Boot)

Two in a Boat

Grandpa Knut wants to show his grandsons Hans (11) and Fabian (14) an eagle's nest which is in the middle of a deserted wilderness, but can only be reached by water via lakes and rivers. Nadja (14) joins them at the last moment - Grandpa is doing his daughter a favour here. But this isn't at all fine with Hans, and nor is Fabian that pleased at first to be sitting in a boat with Nadja who had sent him packing earlier. So there is already tension when the two canoes set off and this increases in the coures of the adventurous journey - until Grandpa suffers a heart attack in the middle of the wilderness. Nobody is there to help the children - Grandpa Knut needs help and real quick. All three children must surpass themselves and get it all together to save themselves and Grandpa. The outing becomes an adventure where the stakes are about life and death....
