A story about a group of film producers making a science fiction movie in the exteriors of Portugal.The black and white movie talks about a world-wide nuclear catastrophe, and instead of a classical story it features a mosaic of situations. This is the reason for the producer's bankruptcy. However, the actors start identifying themselves with the main characters of the movie...


Wim Wenders was born in Düsseldorf in 1945. After discovering his love for cinema in Paris, he attended film school in Munich from 1967-1970. Also active as a photographer and writer, he has made more than 50 films since 1971 all over the world.
