Life Is The Main Thing (Hauptsache Leben)

Life Is The Main Thing

38 year-old Corinna is an energetic woman in love with life. Working as a fashion illustrator, she manages to support herself and the two children she is bringing up on her own and, furthermore, can enjoy life as well. But this is suddenly changed when cancer is diagnosed and one of her breasts is amputated. Despite good forecasts, Corinna has to fight from now on with a fear for her life - and with the mutilation inflicated on her by the amputation. Her only support in this equally financially difficult situation seems to be her old boyfriend Dominik whose urging that they marry finally bears results. But then another man appears in Corinna's life at the same time: Tom, globetrotter and an expert in the art of living, who may not always have things under control, but he never-theless gets to the bottom of them. Occupied with herself, her illness and concern about her children, Corinna shuts her eyes to her true feelings and prepares to agree to marriage with Dominik ...
