Bernd is about to buy a car from the used car dealer Tarek. Although (or better because) Tarek is so friendly and especially courteous, Bernd just doesn't trust this “Ali”. He instead decides to do quite the opposite of what Tarek proposes. A decision with fatal consequences...

Mathias Kraemer was born in Wiesbaden in 1974. He studied Political Science, American Culture & History, Law, and Film in Mainz and Marburg. He has been working as a freelancer in the film industry since 1997 and produced several short feature films. He has been a student at the ifs internationale filmschule koeln since 2004.

Markus Sehr was born in Cologne in 1977. He studied Theater and Audiovisual Media, English, Political Science and Philosophy. He worked at an advertising agency from 1999-2004, and participated in a workshop at the New York Film Academy in 2003. He studied Directing at the ifs internationale filmschule koeln from 2004-2007. Together with Mathias Kraemer, he won the BMW Short Film Award 2005 for Bazar (2005). His short films include: Sugar (2003), Alles Korreckt (2004), Bazar (2005), Gott will es! (2006), and Natuerliche Beduerfnisse (2006). Absolution (2007) is his graduation film.
