Film and art legend Udo Kier is an ARTEHOLIC. He lives and breathes art. He is addicted to art. A living art piece. Kier embarks on a journey through the art world. A tour de force through the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Staedel Museum in Frankfurt, the Museum Ludwig in Cologne, the Louisiana Museum in Copenhagen and the Hamburger Bahnhof in Berlin. On his journey he meets artists and friends like Rosemarie Trockel, Marcel Odenbach, Jonathan Meese and Nicolette Krebitz, curators like Udo Kittelmann, Philipp Kaiser, Max Hollein and Bernard Blistène, and legendary Danish director Lars von Trier. Kier's trip is an odyssey into the addiction and abyss of art. An overdose which ends tragically for the ARTEHOLIC.

Hermann Vaske studied in Berlin and Los Angeles. Active as a director, writer and producder, a selection of his films includes: THE FINE ART OF SEPARATING PEOPLE FROM THEIR MONEY, WHO KILLED THE IDEA?, BALKAN SPIRIT, ARTEHOLIC, and BRA WARS, among others.
