Evaluation The festival is a relevant, audience-oriented and extremely popular meeting place for the German industry in summer. The focus and strength lies in giving a comprehensive overview of the most important German films of the year, instead of competing for German premieres only. The Berlinale excepted, it's the German festival with the highest number of admissions.
