Evaluation The Braunschweig Filmfest is a popular audience festival which is frequently utilized by arthouse distributors as a platform for pre-premieres of upcoming highlights. While the Heinrich Award, including prize money in the amount of Euro 10,000 is highly coveted, press response is primarily regional. The festival is well established and audience-oriented. Focus: European films, German-French exchange, film music, previews and films without German distributors.
