Evaluation The festival is very important for the critics and the Portuguese market. Fantasporto has developed into one of the most important Portuguese festival. Critics consider the Portuguese festival to be interesting and diverse. Festival Director Mário Dorminskj is also a distributor with good relations to Spanish broadcasters.
Since 2014, the festival struggles with problems to secure sponsoring money and decided to launch a crowdfunding campaign.

Services The festival will cover the transport expenses of the feature film prints, except when the films shall be sent to another Film Festival per request of the producer. Concerning the short films the transport of the prints must be covered by the producers/directors. The return will be paid by the festival.
