Evaluation The festival is a "discovery" festival with international premieres; daily discussions with directors, press representatives and audience. In the past the festival organized homages to famous German directors such as R.W. Fassbinder, Reinhard Hauff, Volker Schloendorff, Wim Wenders, Helma Sanders-Brahms, Andreas Dresen and Konrad Wolf.
