Specific Characteristics Recognized by FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers Associations) as Competitive Spezialised Feature Film Festival.

Evaluation The oldest and largest international film festival in India used to travel around India, but since 2004 is based in Goa. The festival is completely sponsored by the Government. Interesting co-production market (Film Bazar), generous provisions for a limited number of international guests. Although very open for European cinema, the festival has organisational problems.
