Terms of Entry For the international competition Doc Aviv accepts medium (at least 45 minutes) and feature length documentaries; films submitted was completed during the calendar year preceding the year of the Festival and not earlier and must be Israeli premieres (must not have been publicly screened in Israel and online before)

Format 16 mm, 35 mm, Beta SP PAL, DigiBeta PAL, DCP

Registration Deadline 13 January 2020
25.00€ for films longer than 40 minutes.
15.00€ for short films (up to 40 minutes in length).

Number of Films Shown There are around 120 international films from about 20 different countries and around 30 Israeli films in all sections.

Media Coverage Massive coverage in the Israeli media and a few represantitves of the international media.

Evaluation DocAviv is the major documentary festival in Israel. It screens only Israeli premiers of international and Israeli films and is highly frequented by the national film industry. There are 4 award bearing competitions, special screenings, a retrospective and a master-class which is held by international filmmakers.
