Evaluation Together with Oberhausen, one of the two major short film festivals in Germany. Compared with the longer tradition of its sister festival, Hamburg is much more audience-oriented, open and less dogmatic. The enormous variety of films shown is clearly divided into several sections. Organized by the renown short film distributor, the Kurzfilm Agentur, this wide-ranging event attracts especially festival organizers, distributors, buyers, commissioning editors and theatrical exhibitors as industry guests. The festival also organizes several workshops and an International Short Film Market offering an extensive video library of all submitted films.
