Thomas calls a Christian helpline and confesses to the counselor Susanne that he has killed his wife, who was suffering from cancer. Yet she does not suspect the true intentions behind Thomas' call.


Markus Sehr was born in Cologne in 1977. He studied Theater and Audiovisual Media, English, Political Science and Philosophy. He worked at an advertising agency from 1999-2004, and participated in a workshop at the New York Film Academy in 2003. He studied Directing at the ifs internationale filmschule koeln from 2004-2007. Together with Mathias Kraemer, he won the BMW Short Film Award 2005 for Bazar (2005). His short films include: Sugar (2003), Alles Korreckt (2004), Bazar (2005), Gott will es! (2006), and Natuerliche Beduerfnisse (2006). Absolution (2007) is his graduation film.
