Kosovo. It is the first German military deployment since WWII. Two German KFOR soldiers are trying to control a checkpoint in the middle of nowhere. In addition to communication problems with the locals, torrid heat, a boring everyday existence and the question of whether or not a mine field is a mine field, the two also have to deal with their own fear.


Lennart Ruff was born in 1986 in Mannheim. He worked as an intern for several commercial production companies, as a location manager and production assistant for German TV and theatrical films. He studied Directing at the University of Television & Film Munich and participated in a Masterclass there. His films include: the shorts GRENZFALL (2007), LITTLE JERK (2008), KREISLAUF (2009), NO SPECIAL INCIDENTS (2009), LIFE IS EASY (2010), the commercials EUROSPORT: WIR SIND WINTER (2011) and HOPE (2012), and NOCEBO (2014).
