Jan Thuering was born in 1971 in Aachen. After studies in Visual Communication/Graphic Design, he enrolled at the Film Academy Baden-Wuerttemberg. Since 2004, he has been working freelance as a director and storyboard artist. His films include: Blind Date (1996), Service (1997), Das Letzte (1998), Schwarz (1997), Kurz & schmerzvoll (1999), Endstation: Paradies (2000), The Raft (Das Floss, 2004), and Gluecksbringer (2005).
