It's the summer holidays, it's hot and 11-year-old Otto is alone. With his last bit of money, he buys himself a goldfish. But due to the heat, water is getting scare and Otto watches on as the water in the fishbowl evaporates. Out on the arid streets, he goes in search of water. He brings his little fish to the sea and finds an imaginary friend there.
