Melanie Straub lives aimlessly into the day, or more accurately: into a Saturday. She's alone at home, surrounded by the emptiness of her new life.
Nicolas Wackerbarth was born in 1973 in Munich and studied Acting at the Bavarian Theater Academy, followed by acting engagements at theaters in Frankfurt and Cologne. Since 2000, he has been studying at the German Academy of Film & Television Berlin (dffb) and is an editor of the film magazine Revolver. A selection of his films includes: Brat (short, 2000), Lovesick (short, 2003), Anfaenger! (TV, 2004), Westernstadt (documentary, 2005), and Half Hours (Halbe Stunden, short, 2007).
