Sections Competition (First and Second Films), SuperNova (non-competitive panorama), Shadows (Horror & Fantasy features and short films), 3x3 (3 profiles of established filmmakers featuring 3 films each), Romanian Days, No Limit, Open Air Screenings, Special Gala Screenings;
The festival has yearly focuses on different countries.
Terms of Entry Entries must have been produced within the last two years and not previously shown in Romania. All feature films will be presented in ther original versions with Romanian subtitles.
There are no restrictions by length or genre.

Participants of the Film Industry The last edition of the festival hosted more than 350 industry guests.

Number of Films Shown 111 feature films and 49 shorts from 39 countries
Media Coverage 250 Romanian and foreign journalists were accredited. All the national and local media is present, reporting from the ecent (TY stations, newspapers, magazines, radio). The closing gala is braodcasted each year live on the national TV.
Among the international press were: Screen International, The Guardian, Positif, Hollywood Reporter, MDR Figaro, Mitteldeutsche Zeitung, Split Screen, TV5, Rai Uno, CBC Radio;
Evaluation Transilvania International Film Festival is presented Romanian Film Promotion. It is the first international feature film festival in Romania and one of the most important film festivals in Eastern Europe. It has a competition for 1st and 2nd time directors.
