Terms of Entry The festival program gives priority to world and international premiere screenings. All screenings must be at least Korean premieres. All films have to be completed after 30 September 11

Participants of the Film Industry BIFF has a pre-market called PPP, the industry oriented event which takes place for 3 days during the festival period. Last time, 790 (foreign and domestic excluding directors and actors) of official investors, producers, buyers, and sellers visited PPP during the festival.

Specific Characteristics Recognized by FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers Associations) as Competitive Spezialised Feature Film Festival.Evaluation The festival has grown in size and importance to be one of Asia's most important festivals. The primarily young audience is enthusiastic. The Pusan Promotion Plan, the festival's professional sidebar, has developed into an important annual gathering of film professionals from all over the world. It is of great importance to European filmmakers, producers and world sales companies who find excellent opportunities to advance into the Asian market. Good organization and a constantly improving quality of the cinemas complement the wide-ranging program. The European Film Promotion is regularly represented by a high-powered delegation of European filmmakers.
Services The festival covers for Korean subtitling and shipping of print (one way or roundtrip depending on situation).
