Specific Characteristics Recognized by FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers Associations) as Competitive Feature Film Festival (so-called "A-Festival").Evaluation The Festival, which is an "A-Festival", is an interesting meeting point between Eastern and Western film culture. Due to organizational and at times also financial problems, however, it has in the past few years lost some of its good reputation. The management is trying hard to regain its former level and can profit from the new regulations by FIAPF, enabling the programming committee to improve the competition section.
