The German Films VOD platform is a free service Video on Demand system for distributors and festival delegates.
In order to gain access to the German Films VOD platform, you must first go the the VOD Library and register (one-time only) with the system. The register button can be found in the red bar at the bottom of the VOD Library page. Thereafter, you will only be required to login in order to access the VOD Libarary.
To register: Click on the register button, a window will open and ask you for your first name, last name, email address and a personal password.
After this you will receive an activation code per email to activate access to the full-movie viewing system. Once you have entered this activiation code, you are automatically logged in.
Then you can select the film(s) you would like to see.
Once you have selected your film(s) of choice (Watch Movie) a window will open and give you the opportunity to request a voucher code or enter an already received voucher code. If you are requesting a voucher code, click on "request voucher code", whereupon you can send an email requesting voucher codes for the films of your choice. Please do not forget to list the title(s) for which you are requesting vouchers and your company and contact information so that we may process your request as soon as possible. You will be issued one voucher code per film.
Once authorization with the world sales agent has been granted, German Films will send you a voucher code per email.
When you receive a voucher code from German Films, login to the system (with your email and personal password), select your title, click on Watch Movie, enter the voucher code received from German Films into "enter voucher" and click on "send voucher". Your "account" will then be credited for viewing the selected film.
Return to your selected film and click on Watch Movie.
Please note: Once you have entered the voucher code and started the film, you will have 48 hours to watch the selected film, as often as you like. After 48 hours the voucher code is no longer valid. You must then request a new voucher.
If you need to stop the selected film and resume watching later, silmply logout and leave the VOD Library. When you return to resume viewing, login and return to your selected film and click on Watch Movie again.
