The festival includes a competition, retrospectives, workshops and debates, discussion with festival guests, concerts, exhibitions and educational screenings. Perspective is a bi-annual event in a thematic connection with the parallel organized Human Rights conference and the Nuremberg International Human Rights Award. The festival is a founding member of the International Human Rights Film Network launched in 2004 in Prague.
