Festivals of German Films
In cooperation with varying partners, in particular the Goethe-Institut, we organize Festivals of German Films all around the world. The film program varies from country to country, presenting a selection of recent feature films, documentaries, shorts, silent movies, and our own short film program Next Generation. The festivals promote German films not only to the regular cinema-going public, but also to the international market and media.
Below is a list of festivals and showcases organized by German Films. As long as no current version of a festival website is available, you will be directed to the website of the past festival.
